We recognize the importance of our history as a Missoula-based organization; we will continue to maintain our office in Missoula as it expands to serve the broader region and adjacent states.  We recognize the importance of public service to our community; we will continue to support local organizations, especially non-profits, and will encourage employees to volunteer their time in support of these groups and local government.

We recognize that our reputation has been built on the quality of service to our clients; we will continue to provide the highest level of architectural services consistent with the client’s program.

We recognize the importance of green building, sustainable approaches to construction, and the inter-relationship of energy and materials; we will continue to integrate these strategies into our work. We recognizes that to be “sustainable” as a company, we will need to maintain an economic viability; OZ Architects subscribes to good business practices and will seek to accept commissions that are consistent with its goals as a company.

We recognize our responsibility to preserve the publics’, health, safety and welfare; we will seek to be environmentally sensitive in our practice and continue our pursuit of regional and contextual architectural design. We recognize our role in defining the aesthetic environment; we will continue to pursue historic preservation strategies while creating architecture true to its place in history.

We recognize that our greatest resource is our employees.  We know that to maintain the highest quality of professional staff we must encourage and offer opportunities for professional development; we have established policies that promote opportunities for interns and registered architects to continue their education.  We recognize the importance of the office environment in achieving the highest level of design work and strive to maintain an atmosphere of collaboration and open communication.
