About the Project

Originally built in the 1970s, the Catlin Building had housed many businesses over the years. But with outdated safety, security and accessibility features, by 2010 the building owner had decided it was time to bring the building up to modern standards.

OZ Architects worked with the building owner to create a phased remodel and addition plan which would transform the Catlin Building into an updated modern office building. Office suites were updated and a shared board room was designed. New fully accessible restrooms in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) were added. A new main entrance addition with an elevator was designed which along with upgrades to the exterior finish materials completed the transformation into a handsome contemporary office building.
